What it is

Certificates that stand up to scrutiny

Many filings and transactions need an independent professional to confirm that the facts are correct — the annual return, e-forms filed with the Registrar, share transfers, net worth or compliance status for a bank or investor.

We examine the underlying records ourselves before we sign. That makes each certificate accurate and defensible, and it means regulators, banks and investors can rely on it.

What we cover

  • Annual return certification (MGT-8)
  • Annual return signing (MGT-7)
  • Share-transfer & transmission certificates
  • Compliance certificates for banks / FIs
  • Certification of e-forms for the ROC
  • Net-worth & other factual certificates
  • Pre-certification of charge forms
  • Certificates under SEBI regulations

Which certifications require a Company Secretary?

Several — including MGT-8 certification of the annual return for prescribed companies, pre-certification of many ROC e-forms, and various confirmations required by banks, investors and SEBI regulations.

What is MGT-8 and who needs it?

MGT-8 is a certificate by a Practising Company Secretary confirming the annual return. It is required for listed companies and for companies above prescribed thresholds of paid-up capital or turnover.

How quickly can you certify?

Most certificates are issued within 3–7 working days once we have the records, depending on complexity.

Can you certify forms you didn't prepare?
